How do I remove the Tweet count from the twitter verticle button?

I'd like to remove the tweet count from the vertical twitter button - but I can't figure out how to do this. I've tried changing the count="vertical" to count="none" in the sharebar.php file but it didn't work. I've also tried applying CSS display:none; to the span.t-count but that didn't work either

Changing it in the Sharebar.php file will only effect the buttons if you reset them - to change the code used on your site, edit it via the settings page.
